TIRANA, January 6/ATA/ Businesses that do not have internet access, due to the lack of waves, will be excluded from the electronic billing process, fiscalization. In a media interview, General Director of Tax Office Delina Ibrahimaj explained how these entities should operate.
“The law and bylaws have provided for all alternatives. In areas that do not have internet coverage, it is enough for the taxpayer to be provided with a certificate from AKEP that operates in the area, which does not have internet coverage and they will not have the obligation of fiscalization, but will continue to operate as they did until today, and will send data to the tax administration “, said Ibrahimaj.
What does the fiscal law provide for businesses that will have a problem with the Internet, its interruption?
“While for entities which for various reasons will have an internet disconnection, the law has provided a standard procedure for sending data. If the internet will be missing for a certain period of time, then the taxpayer will continue to issue invoices, and at the time of internet reconnection those invoices will be taxed. Meanwhile, if this process lasts more than 48 hours, the taxpayer will have to prove that the fault for not connecting to the Internet lies with the service provider “, stressed Ibrahimaj.
From 1 January 2021, invoices to be issued to State Public Bodies must be Electronic Invoices and are exchanged through the Central Invoice Platform.
As for the invoices that will be issued between taxpayers, these invoices must be Electronic Invoices and are exchanged through the Central Invoice Platform starting from July 1, 2021. /a.a/p.s./
