TIRANA, Dec. 19/ATA/- The General Directorate of Taxation informed taxpayers on the procedure for issuing electronic invoices.
From 1 January 2021, taxpayers should issue their invoices electronically to state public bodies through their fiscal systems allowing direct interaction with the central platform of invoices administered by the Albanian tax authorities.
While the invoices that will be issued between taxpayers, must be Electronic Invoices and are exchanged through the Central Invoicing Platform starting from July 1, 2021.
According to the GDT, all taxpayers must take appropriate measures in order to meet the legal obligations arising from the law ” On Invoice and Circulation Monitoring System.” //a.i/
