TIRANA, Dec 16 /ATA/ The 2021 budget expenditures in the fight against COVID-19, including the vaccine, are estimated at 6 billion ALL.
Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj, announced on Wednesday that the budget for healthcare in 2021 will account for 3.7% of GDP.
“Direct expenditures in the battle with the pandemic , including the anti-Covid vaccine, will be estimated at ALL 6 billion,” Denaj said.
According to her, investments in health sector will focus on health centres, regional hospitals and maternity homes.
Overall, she said, ALL 20.6 billion have been earmarked for reconstruction and investments in regional hospitals, maternity homes and 300 health centres.
