TIRANA, Dec 9 /ATA/ The pending claims to be paid by the Compensation Fund of Albanian Insurance Bureau, which include damages caused by uninsured and unidentified vehicles, are at an all time low.
This is best confirmed by the statistics recently published by the Financial Supervision Authority, according to which the pending claims to be paid by the Bureau dropped to ALL 812 million, 37% less compared to the corresponding period a year ago, which recorded about ALL 1.3 billion.
Given the problems that existed before 2017, most likely, the level of pending claims to be paid by this fund is today at an all time low.
Referring to the data of AFSA, in the first 10 months of this year, insurance companies have paid about 268 million ALL in damages on behalf of the Compensation Fund. This amount is 50% lower compared to the same period last year, however the decline in the total stock of pending claims shows that addressing the issue of pending claims is well on track.
