TIRANA, Dec. 9/ATA/- The Director for Western Balkans at the EU Commission’s Directorate General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Genoveva Ruiz Calavera said today that EU stands strongly by Albania’s side in reforms implementation.
“Pleased to open 11th SAA Committee between EU and Albania and see such good turn out on both sides. It has been a difficult time with last year’s earthquake and COVID-19, but focus remains on the path of reforms. EU stands strongly by Albania’s side in their implementation,” the Director for Western Balkans at the EU Commission’s Directorate General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Genoveva Ruiz Calavera said.
The Stabilization and Association Agreement Committee assists the Stabilization and Association Council to oversee the implementation of the SAA, which entered into force in 2009.
The Committee is composed of representatives of the Council of the EU and the European Commission, on the one hand, and representatives of the Government of Albania, on the other. //a.i/
