TIRANA, Dec 9 /ATA/ Minister of Justice, Etilda Gjonaj, says that the results of Justice Reform with the support of EU and US partners will reinforce the results of fight against corruption in every sector.
She emphasizes that the number one anti-corruption mechanism is the new Justice system. She focused on establishment of anti-corruption network composed of coordinators close to 17 major public administration agencies.
“The Number 1 Anti-Corruption Mechanism is the New Justice System. The so far results of Justice Reform with the support of our partners, EU and USA, will reinforce the results of fight against corruption in every sector, ” said Gjonaj.
“We have set up the Anti-Corruption Network with coordinators in 17 main public administration agencies, in sectors that are more susceptible to corruption. Thanks to the support of Albanian Government and Prime Minister Rama, this structure aims to guarantee the stability and improvement of the anti-corruption mechanism,” Minister of Justice said.
According to Gjonaj, the coordinators serve as citizens ‘advocates in the fight against corruption by receiving and double checking citizens’ report of corrupt actions.
