TIRANA, Dec. 5/ATA/- In the first ten months of this year, the volume of goods (exports and imports) transported is estimated at ALL 709.4 billion and 49.5% of them were transported by sea, the Albanian Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) reported on Saturday.
In the 10-month period of 2020, goods exported by sea accounted for 55.5%, by road 42.6% and by air 0.5%. Goods exported by road decreased by 4.1% compared to the same period of 2019.
In the first ten months of this year, goods imported by sea accounted for 46.8%, by road 47.2% and by air 2.9%. Goods imported by road have decreased by 1.5% compared to the same period of 2019.//a.i/
