TIRANA, Dec 2 /ATA/ A rare intervention in the adrenal gland, using advanced methods, was performed for the first time in the Urology ward on a 53-year-old woman from Tirana at the University Hospital Center “Mother Teresa.”
Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, announced that in this time like no other, not only have our doctors uninterruptedly provided their services to all patients, they continue to perform complicated operations, such as the one in the University Hospital Center “Mother Teresa.”
The minister informed that the patient has returned home in a stabilized health condition.
According to the minister, a high-risk operation was successfully performed thanks to the merit of our talented doctors dr. Aurel Janko, Ph.D. Dritan Rehovica, dr. Amarilda Arapi, Ph.D. Ardian Kurti and nurses Besa Seiti and Eliora Goxhabelli, as well as thanks to the high-tech devices and conditions in the modern surgery hospital.
