Quality public service, standard and cheaper; the concession Berisha and Meta ended “, stated today Deputy Prime Minister Erion Braçe. He was referring to the good news announced this morning by the Prime Minister Edi Rama that the service will get transferred to the state beginning from January 1 and will bring innovation and convenience to drivers.
Braçe stressed that the process has started and that the private service enterprises is making the final concession hand over.
“It is an inventory that proves not only the catastrophic failure of the Berisha-Meta concession, but if investigated will prove a multiple crime on citizens, their lives and property, the environment as well,” said Braçe.
“From the day it was brought to the Assembly through the then joint Berisha-Meta government, I was convinced that the service would not be improved or become better, but corruption would simply be transferred from one hand to another. It proved to be so. So great was the corruption there, that when my colleague Shalsi and I tried in the first term to break the monopoly of this concession with an amendment in the Assembly, “The scene between the line minister and the speaker of the Assembly was banal and further on it even had to overthrow the government,” he said./j.p/p.s./
