Reconstruction/ Tabaku: No promise kept

TIRANA, Nov 28 /ATA/- Former DP MP, Jorida Tabaku, stated that the track record one year after the earthquake is no pledge delivered.

She said that the govt. promised that the families would move into their new houses by December, but in one year’ time it has built only 2.6% of the housing units.

The govt. promised that in September students would move into new schools and citizens would access medical services in new hospitals. After a year, it has built only 3% of the schools promised and zero hospitals. “The 1-year post- earthquake reconstruction track record of Edi Rama is zero new apartment buildings constructed,” she said.

Tabaku said that “the time of fraudsters and liars who intend to turn the house keys to the advantage of their campaign is over. It is high time for Albania to have a government that works to deliver on the pledges and meet the needs of its citizens.”
