TIRANA, Nov. 26/ATA/- The approved 2021 Budget and the medium-term orientation budget for 2022-2023 guarantee the fulfillment of the strategic objectives of the Bank of Albania foreseen in its Medium-Term Development Strategy.
The Bank of Albania (BoA) announced on Thursday that, the current situation in the international financial markets, economic and financial developments within the country, current and capital expenditures necessary for the good management of assets and human resources, have been taken into account to draft the Medium-Term Development Strategy.
BoA 2021-2023 Budget among others, aims at further improving the policy and monetary operations framework, developing the professional capacities of the Bank of Albania, supplying the economy with quality banknotes, as well as perfecting communication and transparency with the public.
At the same time, the budget supports the necessary investments in the improvement of the IT infrastructure, the security infrastructure and the premises where the Bank of Albania operates. //a.i/
