TIRANA, Nov.19 /ATA/As of March 13 which saw the first two cases of COVID-19, the number of positive cases in Kosovo has climbed to 31,215.
During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology at NIPHK and private laboratories using the method RT-PCR, a total of 1,599 samples taken from the Kosovo’s Clinical and Hospital Service and tracking of case contacts on the field were tested, of which 720 turned out to be positive.
The total number of positive cases has reached 31,215 out of 123,976 persons suspected of being infected with SARS-CoV-2, while the number of fatalities has reached 860 .
In the last 24 hours, 469 patients have recovered putting the overall number of cured cases to date at 18,374, while the number of active cases is 12,008.//a.i/
