TIRANA, Nov. 18 /ATA/- Leading infection diseases Doctor Pëllumb Pipero stated on Wednesday that, the only specific advice given to the citizens during the pandemic in our country and the whole world is the observance of preventive measures, wearing the face masks, keeping the social distancing and personal hygiene practices.
In an interview with the Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA), Dr. Pipero stated that, the solution comes by respecting the simple preventive measures in the hands of citizens.”
“The measures involve, the use of face masks, social distancing and hygiene practices, as well as the observance of protocols in indoor spaces. Restrictive measures may alleviate the problem at the moment, but they do not solve the problem,” Pipero said.
“It is estimated that, in 500 or 600 positive cases per day, about 10% of them require hospital care. Last night, the number of hospitalizations in the Infectious Diseases Hospita was relatively smaller. The number of COVID-19 cases will likely increase by mid-December,” he said.
Dr. Pipero appealed to all bars, more bars and restaurants to respect the protocols and comply with the capacity limitations, ie the number of customers and tables in indoor spaces. //a.i/
