TIRANA, Nov.10/ATA/- The Minister of Justice Etilda Gjonaj stated on Tuesday that the consultations on the New Criminal Code in accordance with the EU standards are well underway.
“Under the care of Deputy Minister Karameta and the head of the School of Magistrates Arben Rakipi, we held a transparent and professional discussion in our joint journey to receive any valuable contribution to finalize this legal initiative,” Gjonaj said.
Earlier, the Minister of Justice, Etilda Gjonaj presented the latest initiative of the institution she runs, the new Criminal Code.
The new Criminal Code will be subject to an intensive discussion in October-November, as the aim is to have a modern code in line with EU standards.//a.i/
