Universities are not closed/ Kushi: Online teaching for a month forced by pandemic

TIRANA, November 5/ATA/ Education Minister Evis Kushi stated today that, “The decision to conduct online teaching in universities was taken only for a month and we should not consider it as a closure of the universities, but only a temporary decision for a certain period to prevent the spread of infection”.

In a TV interview, Kushi said that, “Other countries have applied the same online teaching. I understand the students who want to be in the auditorium, but the risk is very high and they have to be patient.”

“In the same context, it was taken the decision to close the dormitories. Given the fact that students are moving to meet their parents, Kushi said that, “This would bring an expansion of the map of those affected, and consequently the dormitories were closed. But, payments made for November will be postponed to December,” – underlined Kushi ./ks/jp/p.s./
