TIRANA, Nov. 4/ATA/- Albanian Power Corporation (KESH) held on Wednesday a consultative meeting to present the initiative on drafting a social responsibility strategy.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of local structures in Shkodra region where they discussed about the project innovation focusing on identification of the main problems and challenges of municipalities located in the area of influence of KESH, specifically the environmental, economic development and social issues.
At the today’s consultative meeting, the participants discussed a number of challenges related to the impact these investments will have on the area, focusing on the sensitive issues such as, the importance of community involvement in technical consultations, the need for online risk prediction systems, the support provided to the municipalities in waste management, as well as the waste transfer from the municipality of Puka to the Bushati landfill. //a.i/
