TIRANA, Nov 3 /ATA/ -President of the Republic, Ilir Meta, has condemned the terror attack that took place on Monday evening in Vienna.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims and the people of Vienna. We stand firmly with our Austrian and international allies in the fight against terrorism,” Meta said.
Parliament Speaker, Gramoz Ruçi, condemns the terrorist act in Vienna, saying “barbarism hit one of the civilization pavilions.”
“Terrorists attacked last night one of the most beautiful cities in the world and one of the pavilions of civilization, Vienna. Whatever the motives behind this terrorist attack, they show that civilization is still under threat from barbarism and that the efforts of mankind for tolerance, peace and security continue to be defied by the dark impulses. These acts are undermining the efforts of peoples, communities and citizens to protect human lives from the pandemic, make their lives more vulnerable, and help us distinguish between those who build and sacrifice in the name of love and those who attack and massacre in the name of hatred, ” said Ruçi.
The DP head, Lulzim Basha, has also reacted against terror attack in Vienna.
“I strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on innocent lives in Vienna. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. “Albania stands in solidarity with the people and authorities of Austria,” said Basha.
