TIRANA, Nov. 3/ATA/- The chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Lulzim Basha held on Tuesday a meeting with family doctors and health specialists to discuss the current pandemic situation.
In his remarks, Basha said that, “the DP has insisted since the very beginning on the importance and value of Covid-19 testing. Slovakia tested two-thirds of its population for COVID-19, while the Albania’s Prime Minister, Edi Rama says that, the testing scenarios have no effect on the second wave. According to the the Prime Minister Rama, Covid-19 testing does not facilitate the management of the second wave of coronavirus.”
“There is an urgent need for testing increase as the most effective way to reduce infections and save live,” Basha stressed.
“According to our proposals, the package should be 100% reimbursable, as the amount of money paid by a patient is unaffordable and goes up to 1200 euros, and some of them get bank loans to pay the antiCovid package,” he added. //a.i/
