TIRANA, Nov 2 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ The DP head, Lulzim Basha, has reacted on Monday over the situation of pandemic which, according to him, seems to be getting out of control.
Basha points out that the number of infections is increasing and the healthcare system is headed for collapse.
“The number of COVID-19 infections is rising day to day, fatalities are increasing either and overwhelmed health care capacities are headed for collapse. Rama seems to have lost control over the pandemic situation, although the authorities were forewarned of a second wave. If they had heeded our calls, the govt. would have taken the adequate measures now. Instead of words, proper decisions and prompt actions are needed to increase swab testing and funding to treat the infected patients, to support healthcare and economy. Nothing is more precious than human lives,” Basha says.
