TIRANA, Oct 26 /ATA/ – By Arbi Fortuzi /- The SMI head, Monika Kryemadhi, stated on Tuesday that the opposition stands by the ‘June 5’ agreement, as a guarantee point with the international representatives either.
During a press conference when asked about the act of sending back to parliament the Electoral Code for further deliberation, Kryemadhi said that “the Electoral Code is an electoral maneuver that Rama has employed to mislead the citizens.”
But, according to her, the battle of the opposition is April 25, when Albanians will cast the ballot.
Kryemadhi took the opportunity to express solidarity with the hunger strike of Ballshi oil refinery workers.
“We as the SMI have addressed the SPAK to investigate this corrupt affair, but also the Supreme State Audit to investigate. The Albanian state has direct responsibility for the Ballsh oil refinery. “It is very simple. They can pay the wages of oil refinery workers through royalty collections on oil. Added to that, they can set the plant to operation, so these workers have the opportunity to sustain their livelihoods,” she said.
