TIRANA, Oct 22 /ATA/ Two textile engineers, Moza and Sulo, have started work at the Textile Factory before the ‘90s. When many of their colleagues were forced to switch to other profiles, they got a clothing manufacturing company off the ground following their profession.
Minister of Entrepreneurship Protection, Eduad Shalsi, visited today this company, as part of a tour to get acquainted with the setbacks posed by COVID-19 restrictions.
“Looking at them explaining the processes of producing workwear for export, it was difficult to tell if they were employees or the owners of the company. The pandemic had caused many problems and keeping all the employees at work has been their main concern, “Minister Shalsi said.
According to the minister, this enterprise suffered a turndown of nearly 300%, yet they managed to continue collaboration with the foreign companies.
“Government support for employees was a relief to them, while many of the services from a variety of institutions have significantly improved,” said Minister Shalsi.
