TIRANA, Oct. 19 /ATA/- The requirements that are a must before the first inter-governmental conference have been made clear to Albania, the head of the EU Delegation, Luigi Soreca said during a meeting with the mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici.
“It has been made clear to both Albania and the Albanian authorities about the whole process and the conditions which must be met to hold the First Intergovernmental Conference. Albania is very close to this process. There is still work to be done. The government is aware of the whole process. On the other hand, EU has clearly expressed the desire to start the accession process as soon as possible. I believe we are all clear, and the government knows what is needed,” EU Ambassador Soreca said.
In his remarks, the EU Ambassador Soreca said that, “Kukës has great potential for development in all areas and that, the opportunities for cooperation are real.” //a.i/
