TIRANA, October 11/ATA/- The 9-grade school “Gosë” in the administrative unit in Rrogozhina is almost ready for the teaching process. Damaged by the earthquakes of September and November last year, the school “Gosë” since July has undergone reconstruction and the works are now near completion.
More than 300 students and teachers will return this November 26 to the schoolyard, where instead of the old, dilapidated building they will find a school environment like in every other country in Europe.
The Albanian Telegraphic Agency closely monitored the construction site in this school. Residents of the area, as well as schoolboys and schoolgirls are satisfied with progress of the works, comparing it with that of European levels.
Rigerta Hoxha, Project Manager said that in this structure are provided all the security parameters. “The works started in July. We worked with high intensity to meet the deadline of the works. The construction site employs 100 workers every day who work full time. The whole school is divided into three main structures, kindergarten, school and sports facilities “, – said Hoxha.
“We are finishing the first sports facilities, the school gym. We also have safety elements and parameters to withstand earthquakes up to 9.5 magnitude. As can be seen, the work on the construction site continues at a high pace. We are on time to finish school by November 26, which is the deadline set by the contracting authority “, she said.
Xhavit Halili, Deputy Mayor of Rrogozhina, said “We are satisfied with the work of the firm and the quality of the work of the company to achieve the objectives. This school will become one of the main schools for this administrative unit, it was made with this perspective to give the opportunity to all students of this administrative unit to be taught in optimal and modern conditions “, – said Haliti./p.s./
