TIRANA, October 9 /ATA/ The tender for selection of the company that will build Vlora airport was suspended due to the situation created in the world by the spread of COVID-19 infection, but this process will be reopened next week.
From the National Assembly of the Socialist Party, Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that, “Next week, we shall reopen the process for building Vlora airport right at the point when it was stopped”.
“Vlora Airport was blocked by COVID unfortunately and the process stopped.”Next week, we shall reopen the process where it was interrupted and next year, we shall begin building of Vlora airport”, – stated Rama.
The building of Vlora airport will greatly increase the industrial interest in the whole area, becoming a gateway for tourism, but also for investments that bring economic development. /r.e/p.s./
