Varheyli: Kosovo has met conditions for visa liberalization

TIRANA, Oct. 8 /ATA/- EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood, Oliver Varheyli, after the meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti said that, Kosovo has met the conditions to achieve visa liberalization while adding that it is necessary to convince the member states which according to him, it’s not an easy task.

“Yes, the conditions are met, but we have to convince the member states, and convincing the member states is not an easy task, this can be achieved by showing the daily progress made in the field and the achievement of results. Give us time and space to achieve this,” he said.

“I see that there is progress, there is commitment, and these are not easy negotiations which need to be conducted, but they can be made gradually, as this is a momentum that has already begun. Lajcak has invested a lot, and also the US partners have shown their interest in that. I hope the process of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina would not be concluded in the not-too-distant future,” he said. //a.i/
