TIRANA, October 5/ATA/- The amendments to the Electoral Code will give Albanians a fairer voting process with 100% of the names on the list subject to preferential voting.
The Socialist Party MP Alket Hyseni made the statement today in the Assembly during discussion of the changes and additions to the Electoral Code.
Hyseni said that we appear before the Albanians with an improved law, which enables the free and fair application of the vote.
“Today, we present to Albanians some innovations such as 1/3 of gender representation, which we have guaranteed and have already established. This is not affected by any mechanism for calculating the mandates “, said Hyseni.
He also stressed that, “The new administration of the CEC, although not apolitical, but the construction of structures within this large structure, enables a more efficient administration.”
