TIRANA, Sept 26 /ATA/ – The chairman of the Socialist Party’s parliamentary group Taulant Balla inspected the ongoing works in a number of urban reconstruction and rehabilitation sites in the central city of Elbasan, where road infrastructure and local agro-food market are being upgraded.
Accompanied by Elbasan Mayor Gledian Llatja, the Socialist lawmaker inspected the reconstruction projects in Elbasan and met with residents in the area of agro-food market.
“Together with Gledi in one of the urban reconstruction sites in Elbasan, discussions with residents and inspecting rehabilitation works at the city’s agro-food market,” Balla said.
Work is underway to rehabilitate the main square and streets in one of the largest neighbourhoods in the central city.
“A rehabilitation and reconstruction project was necessary as the road and local streets here were completely degraded. It is a complete municipal investment to upgrade the water supply and wastewater network, lighting. The project also included works to upgrade the entire square area and the largest agro-food market in Elbasan,” Llatja said.
