PRISTINA, September 23 /ATA/ – The number of infected people with the coronavirus since March 13, when the first two positive cases of COVID-19 appeared in Kosovo, has gone to 15 thousand 208. The number of cured patients up to date is 12 thousand 815.
While the number of deaths so far is 615 people.
According to data provided by the National Institute of Public Health, there are 1 thousand 778 active cases.
The Institute stated that, “The epidemiological situation with COVID-19 appears to have stabilized with a downward trend in the coming weeks, as a result of implementation of the recommendations of the National Institute of Public Health. During the last two weeks, we have a significant decrease in the number of cases by 44% “.
During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology of the Institute and private laboratories there were tested with the RT-PCR method a total of 503 samples of which 66 cases happened to be positive.
