TIRANA, Sept 15/ATA/- In January-August 2020, the VAT refund is estimated at ALL 10.2 billion.
The Albania’s Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj announced today that, “in the 8-month period of 2020, VAT refund is estimated at ALL 10.2 billion. Meanwhile, in January-August 2020, about 648 businesses have been reimbursed under FIFO method (completion according to which, the first claims are reimbursed first).”
In her remarks Denaj emphasized that a zero VAT rate has been applied to the taxpayers.
According to the official data published by the Albania’s Ministry of Finance and Economy, in 2020, revenues from Value Added Tax are projected to be ALL 130.7 billion.
At the end of 2019, a zero VAT rate has been applied to the taxpayers under FIFO method reimbursing 23.5 billion ALL. //a.i/
