Urban elements added to Shkodra Bypass/Sidewalks, bicycle lanes, lighting and greenery

TIRANA, September 14 /ATA/ The work is continuing at a high pace for the completion of Shkodra bypass as soon as possible.

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy announced that urban elements have been added to the project, such as sidewalks, bicycle lanes, lighting and greenery, serving as a promenade for citizens.

Shkodra bypass, 6.5 km long, consists of 2 lots, while the investment amounts to a total of 17.5 million Euros. In the first lot, the works have been completed in 66% of the volume, as well as the financial disbursement, while in the second lot 44% of the work volume has been completed.

Shkodra Bypass is an important project for infrastructure and transport. The construction of this bypass skips the city and connects Tirana-Shkodra with Shkodra-Hani i Hotit axes.

The project also envisages the construction of sidewalks for pedestrians and bicycle lanes.

Several construction sites in road infrastructure are open throughout the country, which is expected to have a major impact on the economic development of the country and the well-being of citizens./a.gjonaj/j.p/p.s./
