TIRANA, Sept 14/ATA/- The Committee on Legal Affairs, Public Administration and Human Rights reviewed on Monday the draft decision on the establishment of the working group, some additions and changes to the law on the Electoral Code, after the entry into force of the law on some constitutional changes.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Law Committee Ulsi Manja said that, “since the constitutional changes have already entered into force, this working group proposed three colleagues, two from the majority and one from the opposition, assisted by Electoral Reform experts, by September 30, 2020 under the advice of electoral reform experts to draft and submit to the Albanian Parliament the relevant amendments to the Electoral Code as a reflection of the constitutional changes that have entered into force.”
“The working group consists of 3 MPs. I propose the colleagues Damian Gjiknuri and Klotilda Bushka for the members of the working group, while from the opposition is proposed the MP Korab Lita,” Manja said. //a.i/
