TIRANA, Sept 11/ATA/- In order to increase the performance of the management of funds and needs by the contracting authorities and the well-functioning of the procurement system as a whole, the Public Procurement Agency in asked the contracting authorities to start planning procurement procedures for facilities (goods, works, services) for 2021, as long as the funds are provided.
Through a press release, Public Procurement Agency (PPA) announced that, the contracting authorities should continue work on the register of forecasts of the procurement procedure in the relevant electronic procurement system to cover the needs of 2021 and beyond.
PPA stated that, there will not be permitted the development of procedures above the above the estimated low value procurement threshold foreseen within 2020, for which the authorities provided the funds at the beginning of the year and have not been included in the register of procedures until October 15, 2020.
