TIRANA, Sept 10 /ATA/ – The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases as of March 13 when the epidemic took off has reached 14 377. 10 926 cases have recovered and 574 persons have died of this deadly virus.
According to sources from Kosovo’s National Public Health Institute, there are 2 877 active cases overall.
In the last 24 hours, 44 persons have recovered and 76 new cases have been detected.
“During the last 24 hours, in the Lab of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK with the RT-PCR method and in private laboratories, tests were performed on a total of 589 samples taken from University Hospital Service of Kosovo and the tracking of case contacts in the field. Within 24 hours, 6 fatalities caused by SARS CoV-2 were reported. The total number of positive cases is 14,377 cases out of 55,513 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 574 deaths. During the last 24 hours, 144 patients have recovered putting the total number of cured cases to date at 10,926 cases, while the number of active cases is 2,877. ”/sm/
