TIRANA, Sept 4 /ATA/ President of the Republic, Ilir Meta, received on Friday at the President’s Seat PM Edi Rama, also the SP head.
The meeting is held in the run-up to consultations that the head of state is holding with the heads of political parties on the date of next parliamentary elections.
Meta added that consultations with the heads of political parties are intended to promote an inclusive process.
“It is not that setting the date is of crucial importance, this is all about respecting any sensibility or calendar as are the religious feasts. In this regard, I am concerned to listen to your view as SP representative,” Meta said.
PM Edi Rama is accompanied in this meeting by the chairman of SP parliamentary group.
