TIRANA, August 31/ATA/- Lindita Kondi, head of the export center in Vlora, told on Tuesday the Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA) that, the growth of domestic agricultural production, especially now at the peak of agricultural production, is reflected in the positive indicators of agricultural exports for various types of products, if compared with the previous year.
As many as 36 trailers with agricultural products were exported in August 21-28, 2020, from the collection centers of of Lushnja and Fier. Among the products, pickled cucumber leads with about 117 tons of exports, peppers with 85 tons and tomatoes with 60 tons.
There has been an increase in agricultural exports from the collection centers of Lushnjë and Fier compared to 2019, while exports of pickled cucumber to Switzerland, Austria and Italy saw an increase following the contract signed this year with the Fier agricultural collection center. //a.i/
