Balla: There can be no secret agreement with Greece, as it has no value

TIRANA, August 30/ATA/- The chairman of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla stated on Sunday that, there is no secret agreement on the sea with Greece, as it has no value.

“Regarding the ‘secret sea deal with Greece,’ there can be no agreement on the sea border between the two countries as it has no value,” Balla stressed.

“These agreements are signed between the governments and ratified in the respective parliaments,” he said.

“Therefore, the alleged new agreement announced by Democratic Party-Socialist Movement for Integration does not exist at all. The only agreement on paper, together with their signatures and stamps, is the agreement signed by the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and the leader of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha, supported by Ilir Meta as Basha’s successor and Berisha’s minister,” the chairman of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla said.

“That agreement violated the national interest, this is the reason why the Socialist Party decided to appeal to the Constitutional Court,” Balla added. //a.i/
