TIRANA, August 21/ATA/- The Albania’s Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Besa Shahini stated Friday that, an assistant teacher plays a key role in advancing the priority of inclusiveness of the institution he/she runs.
“Inclusiveness is and will remain a major priority of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth. In this regard, we have gone further by licensing for the first time the assistant teacher in the “Special Education” profile, because we strongly believe that the well-prepared assistant teachers are a basic pillar in advancing this priority ,” Minister Shahini underlined.
There are currently about 1,090 assistant teachers in the pre-university education system. The year-on-year increase in the number of assistant teachers has also had a positive impact on the increase in the number of students with different abilities in the education system, on their independence and on reaching their maximum potential. //a.i/
