TIRANA, Aug 16 /ATA/ – The United States of America has made another made another delivery of test kits for COVID-19 to Albania.
U.S. Ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim said that to assist Albania conduct more tests for COVID-19, this week USAID/Albania made another delivery of test kits to the Institute of Public Health and Mother Teresa Hospital bringing the total number of tests made available by the United States to the Albania people to 32.160.”
“In addition, USAID donated an automated extractor machine which purifies RNA allowing the IPH staff to handle more tests and more rapidly,” U.S. diplomat said.
Ambassador Kim said “we are proud to offer this support as the global community continues to fight this disease.”
“Allies always help each other in times of need!” U.S. Ambassador said.
