TIRANA, July 30 /ATA/- The Albanian Assembly voted today for the changes in the Constitution.
The Constitutional amendments were approved with 106 votes in favor, 10 against while 6 MPs did not take part in the voting.
Attending today’s session were 116 MPs out of 122 in total, of which only 10 voted against these changes.
The amendment of Articles 64 and 68 of the Constitution creates the possibility of opening the lists of candidates while the citizens can vote for both the party and the candidate for MP and there also changes the formula on the coalitions./p.s./
