TIRANA, July 28 /ATA/”The approval of the constitutional changes does not affect, in spirit or in the letter, the agreement of June 5″, declared today the lawmaker of the Socialist Party, Adnor Shameti.
In a television interview, when asked about the Democratic Party’s request for opening of 100% of the lists, Shameti said, “I am very happy that the Democratic Party finally voice this stance converging with our stance on opening the lists ”.
“It is not at all true that we are for limited openness,” added Shameti.
“There is no removal of coalitions with the changes to be made. It is absolutely possible for several political entities to come together on a joint list and run together in the next parliamentary elections. It is the best practice of the most advanced countries of Europe to present in this way the subjects as a coalition in a pair of parliamentary elections “, said Shameti.
