TIRANA, July 16/ATA/-The application deadline for grants under the Reconstruction program has been extended to July 16, 2020, aimed at providing support for quake-affected families in Durrës to repair their houses which have been damaged by the earthquake of November 26, 2019, the Chairwoman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economy and Finance, Milva Ekonomi announced on Thursday.
“According to the official data, in Durrës there are 7,500 families who will benefit from the Reconstruction Grant Program,” she added.
“The reconstruction grant program is a good opportunity for all families whose homes have been damaged by the earthquake helping them to prevent property damage from natural disasters,” the Chairwoman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economy and Finance, Ekonomi said.
“Also, a total of 27 schools in the city of Durrës are due to undergo reconstruction, of which 9 will be rebuilt from scratch and 8 others will be rehabilitated,” Ekonomi noted. //a.i/
