TIRANA, June 26/ATA/ Albania’s Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu held Friday a meeting with German Ambassador to Tirana Peter Zingraf to exchange views on the current pandemic situation.
In his remarks, Zingraf noted the German and European support to help Albania to mitigate the consequences of pandemic.
“In order to successfully fight the virus, each of us should make a contribution amidst Covid-19 situation. We have to limit our interactions with other people as much as possible and be careful, because the virus is still among us, and it still remains a present and omnipresent threat.
“I urge the Albanian citizens to show caution, keep a distance, protect themselves and others! Otherwise, we will not only carry a high risk of virus infection but we will also result in a permanent job loss and risk the economic recovery of Albania,” German Ambassador appealed.
