TIRANA, June 25/ATA/ Following the investment carried out by Tirana municipality in the administrative units of Petrela, Zallbastar, villages of Qeha and Pëllumbas, work is underway on the transformation of Baldushk village, involving the rehabilitation interventions on street, square, the offices of the administrative unit and the cultural center.
The project entailed rehabilitation interventions on the road leading to the center of the administrative unit of Baldushk, construction of sewerage facilities and lighting installation.
The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj noted Thursday that, in addition to the rehabilitation of urban centers, the municipality project aims to improve the infrastructure in rural areas.
In his remarks, Veliaj said that such an investments could have been made much earlier by the leader of the opposition when he was in power or the mayor of the municipality, but he has shown an inability and a lack of willingness to carry them out.
Mayor of Tirana Veliaj added that, investment in the rehabilitation of Baldushk area aims to promote rural tourism.
Further, Veliaj stated that, as of the next week the families affected by the November 26, 2019 earthquake will be able to receive cash payments under the Albanian Government Reconstruction Program, to repair their damaged homes. //a.i/
