TIRANA, June 24 /ATA/- Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka said that the Lleshi and Murati families from Bathore, who lost their homes in the earthquake of September 21, are entering new house today.
Minister Xhaçka said that, “The Lleshi and Murati families have settled in Bathore for more than 20 years, but lost their only property 9 months ago, after the September 21 earthquake”.
“Today, they have entered the houses built from the beginning, with the funds allocated from the state budget and the Ministry of Defense. Esat’s house is the first among the 30 houses that will be handed over this week “, said Xhaçka.
Xhaçka stressed that, “In the coming weeks the rest will be completed, bringing to 170 the total number of houses built in a few months, a process which even COVID-19 did not slow down.” /a.a/p.s./
