TIRANA, June 24/ATA/ The government approved today the decision to determine the amount of funding of 109 million ALL in the 2020 budget, for religious communities that have signed agreements with the government.
According to this decision, the Muslim Community of Albania benefits the amount of 31 824 000 ALL, divided into: 11 544 000 ALL for financing with half of the minimum budget salary 74 administration employees and 20 280 000 ALL for financing with half of the minimum budget salary 130 employees of pre-school, pre-university and university education institutions.
Likewise, the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania benefits the amount of 25,740,000 ALL, divided into 20,592,000 ALL for financing with half of the minimum budget salary 132 administration employees and 5,148,000 ALL for financing with half of the minimum budget salary 33 employees of pre-school, pre-university and university education institutions.
The Catholic Church in Albania benefits from the amount of 25,740,000 ALL, divided into 6,240,000 ALL, for financing with half of the minimum budget salary 40 employees of the administration and 19,500,000 ALL for financing with half of the minimum budget salary 125 employees of institutions of preschool, pre-university and university education.
The Bektashi World Headquarters receives the amount of ALL 25,696,000, divided into ALL 4,056,000 for financing up to half of the minimum budget salary 26 administration employees; 14 640 000 ALL for the construction of the Elbasan Tekke and 7 000 000 ALL, due to its special position, as the World Headquarters, based in Tirana, and the extension of its activity abroad.
The decision of the Council of Ministers stipulates that the transfer of the fund for religious communities will take place simultaneously, within the month of June 2020./m.m//a.a/r.e/p.s./
