First holiday-makers arrive in Shëngjin beach as preparations are underway

TIRANA, June 21 /ATA/- The first holiday-makers have arrived at Shëngjin beach.

The Municipality of Lezha posted today images from the beaches of Shëngjin, where it seems that everything is ready.

The municipality said that in order to guarantee a smooth season, “we have taken all the necessary measures to improve the tourist infrastructure and create the most comfortable conditions for holiday-makers”.

Due to COVID-19 infection, the government has drafted a protocol of measures to be implemented by the tour operators.

On their part, the tour operators must apply on the e-Albania platform for exercising their activity as a beach station. This is the only option for accommodation or service entities to use beach stations. An entirely new system that guarantees the safety of life, the protection of health, while putting an end to the occupation of public beaches.

Through it, the tour operators can easily and without any cost, perform the online application procedure on e-Albania, by uploading the documents required by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, in accordance with 2 specific stages, categorically eliminating bureaucracies, goings and comings as well as bribes.

The entities, which will apply for a permit, must have in advance the operating plan for the exercise of the activity of the beach station and photos of its accommodation structure, documents that are uploaded online in the system. The maximum deadline for receiving the service is 9-12 days./a.gjonaj/j.p/p.s./
