TIRANA, June 18/ATA/Kosovo’s National Institute of Public Health reported 83 new cases of the coronavirus on Thursday, bringing the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the country to 1,916.
The Institute also said that 5 more patients recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of the recovered people to 973.
The Institute said that they have tested 457 samples, and 83 of them were tested positive for the virus.
The positive cases were detected in Vushtrica 15 cases, Pristina 14 cases, Gjilan 12 cases, Peja 9 cases, Mitrovica 9 cases, Dragash 8 cases, Mamusha 7 cases, Prizren 6 cases and Fushë Kosovë 1 case, Obiliq 1 case and Skënderaj 1 case.
The National Institute of Public Health said in its daily bulletin that from 08 February 2020 they have tested 20,206 samples and 1,916 out of them were tested positive.
A total of 34 Covid-19 patients have died, and all had underlying health conditions.//a.i/
