TIRANA, June 17 /ATA/ The government approves the fund worth 950 295 959 ALL for irrigation, dam safety and flood protection projects.
The Council of Ministers decided on Wednesday to allocate and detail the fund of 950 295 959 ALL to the program “Management of irrigation and drainage infrastructure,” for the projects of irrigation, dam safety and flood protection.
The government decision states that “the projects for the rehabilitation of dams, before the start of the procurement procedure, should be approved by the National Committee of Large Dams”.
“The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the municipalities are tasked with implementing this decision. This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the “Official Gazette,” the government decision reads.
