TIRANA, June 12 /ATA/ The employment rate for men during the first quarter of this year increased by 1.3% while for women by 0.9%.
The Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) recently published the Quarterly Labor Market Survey, according to which during the first quarter of the year the employment rate for men is 68.7%, while for women 54.2%
According to INSTAT, the labor force participation rate during the first quarter of this year for women is estimated at 61.9%, while for men this indicator is 77.6%.
According to INSTAT, compared to the corresponding quarter of 2019, the labor force participation rate for women increased by 1.1% and for men increased by 0.4 percentage points.
