TIRANA, April 26 /ATA/ Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, stated on Sunday that the movement in green zones will be relaxed as of Monday.
In a live communication, minister Manastirliu stated that the regions or municipalities that have turned out to be low-risk for transmission of COVID-19 have been classified as green zones.
“Areas as follows: Dibër region, Gjirokastër region, common area of Saranda, Konispol, Himara, Delvinë and Finiq, common area of Përrenjas, Pogradec and Librazhd municipalities, as well as Divjaka municipality,” – said Manastirliu.
According to her, in the green zones the retirees will move from 6:00-08:30 in the morning.
“Other citizens will move from 09:30 to 17:30 hrs accompanied by no more than one person, except for citizens who have work permits,” she said.
The Minister said that “in the green zones, the parks will continue to be off limits for another 14 days and gatherings and cases of more than two people staying together in public areas will be prohibited.”
As to private vehicles, they will be allowed to circulate without authorization only within the respective region or municipality from 09:30hrs to 17:30hrs with only one passenger. It is important to note that movement by private vehicle of pensioners as passenger will be forbidden, except cases of authorization for health reasons, ” – said Manastirliu.
